Alan Gindoff, DHSc, PA-C began his career in PA education in 2001 at the University of Florida PA Program. He later served as Chair and Program Director at the East Carolina University PA Program from 2012–2023 before joining South College Asheville in January 2024 as Program Director. In August 2025, he transitioned to Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) as Assistant Program Director for the Philadelphia Campus. Clinically, Dr. Gindoff practiced primary care as a physician assistant from 1992–2022. He has contributed nationally as an item writer for both the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and served for five years as a site visitor for the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
