About

Rasheed Agboola, MD, teaches pathology in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at PCOM South Georgia. Previously he served as an associate professor of pathology and course director of pathophysiology at Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia before joining PCOM South Georgia.

Dr. Agboola has extensive experience in medical education and he has been teaching pathology to medical students for almost two decades. He worked at International American University College of Medicine in St. Lucia as an associate professor and course director of pathology for over 10 years. Dr. Agboola was a full-time faculty member in the pathology department at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada and an assistant professor of pathology at Atlantic University School of Medicine in St. Lucia.

Dr. Agboola has held several administrative and academic positions including dean of student affairs, chair of disaster management committee, chair of scholarship and academic award committee, chair of disciplinary and grievance committee, co-chair admissions committee and also served as the co-chair promotions committee.

Dr. Agboola had won several awards for his teaching skills including Dean's Outstanding Faculty Award for the Best Faculty, Best Teacher Award and President's Outstanding Service Award. Dr. Agboola holds a medical license in Nigeria and registered under Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
