Dr. Dhiman currently teaches gross anatomy, histology and embryology for the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) program at PCOM South Georgia and is a member of curriculum committee and co-chair of physical learning environment committee.
After completing his medical degree, he started working as a junior resident in pediatrics and practiced medicine in rural areas for several years. He later joined the Accident and Emergency Department at Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, Guyana and Victoria Hospital St. Lucia. While working at the hospital, he also started teaching medical students. He has been teaching anatomy and histology in the medical schools since 2006 and held several positions including assistant dean of clinical sciences, chair of the curriculum committee and chair of the faculty development committee.
Dr. Dhiman was the course director for gross anatomy and module director for the integumentary module at Ross University School of Medicine.
He was awarded the most favorite professor at MUA School of Medicine.
Dr. Dhiman is a licensed physician to practice allopathic medicine in India and registered under Indian Medical Council.
