Abstract

The Ectrodactyly-Ectodermal dysplasia-Clefting (EEC) Syndrome is an autosomal dominant disorder of ectodermal and/or mesodermal interaction. It is characterized by ectrodactyly, ectodermal dysplasia, and with or without clefting anomalies. Numerous other associated abnormalities such as lacrimal duct and urogenital tract abnormalities have been described. This report describes an infant with EEC syndrome who also had a ventricular septal defect, which has been rarely reported.
