Abstract

The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis and treatment of fibromyalgia. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: Assess the physiological evidence for fibromyalgia. Recognize diagnostic features and comorbidities associated with chronic pain and fatigue associated with fibromyalgia. Implement the use of evidence-based, multimodal treatment approaches for fibromyalgia. Develop confidence in managing fibromyalgia as a chronic condition in the primary care setting. Engage in collaborative relationships with patients in the management of fibromyalgia.
